Honeycomb bongs start to get a little more complex. These have a disc built into them that use dozens of small holes to filter the water and smoke. This lessens the drag and makes for smoother more consistent hits.

Instead of through the mouthpiece, you add water through the stem until it reaches a bit more than halfway to the honeycomb disc. Taking a hit from the honeycomb bong will move water through the holes and in some cases it will drip back into the chamber or rest on top. Either is fine as long as it pulls easily.

Double and Triple Honeycomb Bongs are only different in the amount of honeycomb discs, but work just the same. To fill a triple or double honeycomb bong with water, slowly pour a small amount into the mouthpiece and alternate blowing into it to push the water down into each chamber. Tilt the bong until water falls to enough to slightly cover each of the honeycombs.

A fun bong to smoke from is a percolator bong. Percolator bubblers are easy to use and fill with water. Pour enough through the mouthpiece that it fills almost halfway. Make sure any holes or slits are covered and that the downstem is submerged.

Double Percs are cool, too. Just like a single perc bong, you pour water into the mouthpiece enough to fill the second chamber. Then blow into the bong to push the water into the bottom chamber until both are about halfway filled. Then start puffing.
